The Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Adoption of Decisions concerning Placement, Design and Construction of Nuclear Facilities and Units intended for Treatment of Nuclear Waste of National Importance"

The Bill (Reg. No.2176) introduces amendments to the effective Law which specify the mechanism for holding a consultative inquiry (a consultative referendum); define financial sources; specify the procedure for adopting a resolution on extension of term for exploitation of operating nuclear facilities and units intended for treatment of nuclear waste of national importance.
